Nu Mra Zan博士是緬甸宗教事務與文化部的博物館事務資深顧問。她過去曾擔任教育部轄下的中學教師,後來轉任策展人,在各大博物館服務逾三十年,並於19982010年間擔任緬甸國家博物館館長。她執教於緬甸多所教育機構,並曾於2011年在日本大阪民族學博物館擔任訪問學者。Nu Mra Zan博士參加過多場在亞洲與歐美舉辦的國際展覽、會議、研討會與文化交流活動,目前也持續參與緬甸國內多項博物館計畫,並協助訓練博物館專業人員。2016年,她榮獲緬甸仰光國立藝術文化大學授予博物館學榮譽博士學位。


Dr Nu Mra Zan is Senior Consultant on museum affairs at the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture, Myanmar. She began her career as a high school teacher with the Ministry of Education. Later, she worked as curator at various museums for over three decades and was Director of the National Museum of Myanmar in Yangon between 1998 and 2010. She has held numerous teaching posts in Myanmar and in 2011 was Visiting Professor at the National Museum of Ethnology in Osaka, Japan. She has taken part in a number of international exhibitions, conferences, symposiums, and cultural exchange programs in Asia, Europe, and the U.S. Currently, she is involved in many ongoing museum projects and helps train museum professionals across Myanmar. In 2016, she received an honorary doctorate in museology from the National University of Arts and Culture in Yangon.
