Lin Tien-jen

Former Research Fellow, Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum, Taiwan


Dr Lin Tien-jen is retired from the National Palace Museum, where he worked as Research Fellow. He holds a PhD in history from the National Taiwan Normal University and specializes in research into ancient maps, pre-Qin history, and historical documents. He has been Visiting Fellow and Guest Professor at several research institutions in Taiwan and abroad. He has published more than 40 papers and ten books, including Xianqin Sanjin Quyu Wenhua Yanjiu [Study of the Culture of the Three Jin Region in the Pre-Qin Period], Outlining Geographical Expanse with a Brush: Historical Maps in the Collections of the National Palace Museum, and A Thousand, Thousand Churning Waves: The Legendary Red Cliff Heritage.
